The Location

Nosara, Costa Rica

There are many beautiful places to host a retreat. We chose Nosara for a reason. Nosara has quietly become one of the most respected yoga destinations in the world - not because it’s busy or performative, but because of what it protects.
Protected land, coastline, and a slower, more intentional way of living. There’s a depth to the practice here. Open-air studios tucked into the jungle, a culture that values presence, and a rhythm that naturally supports the nervous system in softening.
It’s the kind of place where yoga returns to its roots - as something you live inside of.When we began envisioning this retreat, we knew we didn’t want a place that would distract or overwhelm. We wanted a place that would hold you. Nosara does that.

The Space We'll Call Home

NaLu Nosara

Our retreat will be held at NaLu Nosara - a collection of thoughtfully designed villas that feel both elevated and deeply grounded. Each space is intentionally minimal yet warm, blending natural textures, open air living, and soft light. Indoor and outdoor spaces flow seamlessly, allowing you to move between solitude and connection with ease. You’ll find:- Sunlit rooms with neutral, calming tones
- Open-air kitchens and shared gathering spaces
- Private pools nestled into the jungle
- Thoughtful design that invites presence, not distraction
Everything here supports one thing: coming back to yourself.

What to Expect

The Experience

This is a week designed to hold both movement and stillness. Each day gently unfolds with:- Morning Vinyasa (90 min) with Dani: A steady, energizing practice to awaken the body and build heat with intention
- Evening Restorative (120 min) with MJ: Deep, supported stillness to down-regulate, integrate, and soften
In between, your days are your own. You might:- Walk to the ocean and swim in warm salt water
- Learn to surf (optional add-on available)
- Rest by the pool, journal, or nap without urgency
- Share meals and conversations - or take space in silence
There is no pressure to do more. The rhythm is designed so that what needs to arise…can.
